Novogrudok is the birthplace of Konstantin Kachan. The artist devoted many works to any places. He even built his own picture gallery not in a big city, but in his native town of Novogrudok. By the way, it settled down just on the way to Zamkova Hill.

The famous historical place – the Novogrudok Castle – has attracted people from all over the world for centuries. A unique monument of defense architecture of the Middle Ages impresses with its greatness.

But life does not stand still. The times of the great princes and knights have passed. And today at the castle, you will see rather a nice old woman with a goat, like in the painting of Konstantin Kachan, than a warrior-reenactors. And this has its provincial charm.
